The Ver-o-Peso street market exposes the fresh air of Amazon in its tents everyday. Early in the morning, the boats arrive with açaí, fish and many other goods from the islands around Belém. The Guajará Bay celebrates throwing its breeze over the meat and the fish markets, built with iron brought from England in Portuguese ships. There isn't a single tourist who resists the perfume of patchuli, and the power of the herbs, which overcome all problems, such as love.
Todo dia, o Complexo do Ver-o-Peso expõe o frescor da Amazônia em suas barracas. De manhã cedo, os barcos vão chegando com o açaí, os peixes e tantos outros artigos das ilhas de Belém. A baía do Guajará comemora jogando sua brisa sobre os mercados da carne e do peixe, construídos com ferro trazido da Inglaterra nos navios portugueses. Não há turista que resista ao perfume do patchuli, e aos poderes das ervas que trazem soluções para todos os males, inclusive os do coração.
