A piece of the Amazon rainforest in the middle of the urban center, the Bosque, designed by Baron Marajo, in 1880, is one of the most visited tourist sites in Belem.

It has farmed birds and endangered species, greenhouse, aquarium and pond that offers ride river in canoes.

Besides leisure option today, as the Botanical Garden in the Amazon, conducts research and holds conservation programs for endangered species.
